Africa-Press – Angola. Two thousand primary school students benefit from school meals made up of hot meals and food, in the municipality of Mucari (55 kilometers east of the city of Malanje), the local administrator, Inácio Cabedal.
The project, budgeted at 36 million kwanzas/year, essentially involves the distribution of soups, bread, soft drinks and mineral water.
According to Inácio Cabedal, only two thousand students receive lunch due to the low amount allocated by the government.
He made it known that due to this situation, many children were not covered, so efforts have been made to gradually increase the number of beneficiaries.
Currently the region has 12 thousand primary school students, distributed across the municipalities of Sede, Caxinga and Muquixe.
