Africa-Press – Angola. Five hundred and 20 kilograms of medicines, stored in inappropriate places and in poor condition, were seized Friday, at the Municipal Market of Uíge, by the local Criminal Investigation Service (SIC).
The seizure of drugs and the arrest of seven traders without qualifications to sell the product fall within the scope of the Program to Combat Economic Crimes and against Public Health.
The SIC spokesperson in Uíge, Zacarias Fernando, explained that citizens without professional licenses for the sale of medicines were caught selling drugs on public roads, without the minimum conditions for preserving the products.
As a result, the detainees were forwarded to the Public Ministry.
