Africa-Press – Angola. Six of the eight carnival groups from Kilamba Kiaxi municipality will participate in the Marginal de Luanda party on the 18th, 19th and 20th of this month.
The municipality, which will not be represented by the “A” class, will have the participation of União 17 de Setembro, União Café de Angola, União 28 de Agosto and União Comandante Kuenha.
In the children’s class, scheduled for the 18th of February, Kilamba Kiaxi takes to the parade União Cassule Café de Angola and União Cassule Youth from Kilamba Kiaxi.
Speaking to press, the person in charge of culture and tourism in the municipality, Policarpo Pinto, informed that the aim is to return the groups to class “A”.
He said they were looking forward to winning one of the top three places on the podium, both in the children’s class and in “B”. SA
