The Carrinho business group created the agricultural support segment called “Carrinha Agri”, which aims to support the development of small farmers, in matters related to technical training with a view to generating profitable businesses, focused on the crops of corn, beans, soy, wheat , rice and cotton.

According to a document, in the project, “Carrinho Agri” also plans to train farmers in areas of production and commercial management, the first phase of which covers 175 communes, distributed in 51 municipalities, in the provinces of Malanje, Benguela, Bié, Huambo, Huila and Cuanza-Sul.

The knowledge to be imparted will also focus on the design and development of programs within the scope of projects for the creation of cattle, swine, goats, as well as poultry and eggs.

Animal Food

In the animal feed segment, the Angolan business group seeks to be a reference in manufacturing and marketing.

The company produces animal feed for several species, such as poultry, cattle, swine and small ruminants.

It also sells cereals in granulated and floured format.

The company will support domestic and large producers.

Logistics Operation

The Carrinho group also created the “logistics operation” services provided with more than 300 vehicles, including light and heavy vehicles.

On the other hand, the company is building the third industrial kitchen in Luanda, which will be able to produce more than 18,000 meals a day, whose completion and operation is scheduled for next year. At the moment, about 600 meals are served per month.

The industrial complex of the Carrinho group is made up of 17 factories, a wheat mill with the capacity to grind 1,200 tons per day, including corn (800) and rice (240,000).

It also has a packaging factory with a capacity of 2,500 tons per day, breakfast cereals 80 tons, cookies and cakes 150 tons per day.

The pasta factory has the capacity to produce 600 tons per day. The cooking oil refinery has an installed capacity of 800 tons per day, mayonnaise and sauces 25 tons. The factory also produces margarine, with a capacity of 200 tons and condensed milk 100 tons per day.

The feed factory has a capacity to produce 600 tons per day, soap (200 tons), meat (40 tons) and vinegar (20 tons).
