Africa-Press – Angola. Twenty-two citizens of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) were repatriated, this Saturday, by the Migration and Foreigners Service (SME), for illegal residence in the border municipality of Nóqui, Zaire province.
These are 20 women and two men, collected in the Poder Popular neighborhood and in the villages of Mingiengie, Ntongui and Nkossa, in an action that involved personnel from the SME and the National Police.
In a note sent this Sunday, in Mbanza Kongo, the corporation indicates that the aforementioned citizens were collected following control and inspection actions against foreigners in an irregular migratory situation.
The repatriation took place at the border post between this municipality and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The municipality of Nóqui is 165 kilometers from the city of Mbanza Kongo, capital of the province of Zaire.
