Africa-Press – Angola. The Angolan striker Paulo Luvumbo on Sunday was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP), after a hat-trick in Angola’s 5-0 victory over Lesotho in the second round of Group C of the AFCON COSAFA Under 17 Category, that is taking place in Harare, Zimbabwe.

The 15-year-old Interclube Luvumbo player scored three goals, while Eliseu Francisco and Constantino Chianica scored two more goals to reinforce the victory of the team coached by the Angolan Mário Catala.

Meanwhile, in the debut game, held Friday, Angola beat Botswana by 5-0. In that match, the captain of team Gabriel Silva, a Petro de Luanda player, was named MVP.

In Sunday’s game, Dala, Castro, Vandro, Osvaldo, Dumbo, Jairo, Gabriel, Manelson, Eliseu, Luvumbo and Chianica, were the players who made up the team’s starting lineup.
