Africa-Press – Angola. TAAG Linhas Aéreas de Angola announced this Friday that the first commercial flight of the Airbus A220-300 aircraft was destined for São Tomé and Príncipe.According to a statement, the inaugural flight left 4 de Fevereiro Airport in Luanda in the morning, with an Angolan crew and members of the TAAG Board of Directors, Neide Teixeira, Mónica Cristino and Adiron Alberto.
Upon arrival, the delegation of the national flag carrier was received at São Tomé and Príncipe International Airport by the Angolan Ambassador to that country, Fidelino Peliganga.The trip to São Tomé lasted approximately 2h30, with around 200 passengers on board, considering the complete Luanda/São Tomé and Príncipe/Luanda itinerary.
