Tchirimba FC is the representative of Bengo province in the national phase of the Angola Football Cup, scheduled to start next January, after thrashing, this Friday, Totima FC do Panguila, by 3-0, in the Dande Municipal Stadium, in the city of Caxito, in the final game of the local competition.
Hernâni, twice, and Peludo scored the goals of the triumph of the club from Barra do Bengo, in a match in which the Panguila team presented itself without arguments to try to overcome the opponent. He was powerless during regulation time and with physical problems.
This is the first time that Tchirimba FC, third in the Provincial Championship, with two points, will represent Bengo in the Angola Cup.
In the first semi-final, on the 2nd of this month, Tchirimba FC beat Remanescente FC, by 5-4, at the Buala field, in Panguila, in the penalty kick decision.
In regulation time, the teams were tied without goals.
On the same date, Totima FC defeated Nduênga Sport Clube do Bengo, by 2-1, at the Picolé grounds.
The draw for the national phase of the Angola Cup will take place on December 13, at 10:00 am, at the headquarters of the Angolan Football Federation (FAF), in Urbanização Nova Vida, in Luanda. In addition to the Angola Cup, the FAF draws, also on the same occasion, the National Championship of the II Division, both competitions from the 2022/23 season.
The matches of the first round of the competition’s qualifying round start on January 11th, whose final is scheduled for May 28th, in a place to be indicated by the national football institution.
