Africa-Press – Angola. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António, discussed, on Tuesday, the issues of peace and international security with the resident coordinator of the United Nations (UN) in Angola, Zahira Virani.
The two individuals also reviewed the cooperation between Angola and the UN, as well as the reform process of the United Nations Coordination System. António and Zahira Virani addressed the upcoming Malabo Summit, in Equatorial Guinea, on Combating Terrorism and Unconstitutional Regime Changes in Africa.
The UN is an international organization whose objective is to seek world peace and development through cooperation between countries. It has the power to discuss and take necessary action on issues such as world peace, climate change, sustainable development, human rights, disarmament, terrorism, gender equality, food production and health emergencies.
