Africa-Press – Angola. The national coach, Mitó da Silva, congratulated the boys on reaching the semi-finals and hopes that the team will maintain the same levels of confidence and motivation in the next game against Zambia.
“We are satisfied and the athletes are to be congratulated for the way they behaved on the field, fulfilling the first objective in the competition, doing better on the field”, he evaluated.
The coach warned the athletes of the need to maintain a spirit of trust and responsibility, bearing in mind the game against the Zambians. He stressed that they should not underestimate the opponent.
“We are going to face the game with Zambia with the same responsibility that we face the others, without disdain for the Zambians”, warned Mitó da Silva.
In turn, the Zambian coach Ciff Nolin recognized that the Angolans were superior and worthy winners.
“Angola was superior. We have about 9 players who are not in competition and we couldn’t do better than that. We learned and, next time, it could be better”, he highlighted.
