Africa-Press – Angola. The entrance exams to the Universidade Agostinho Neto (UAN), in Luanda, start today and go until Wednesday, with 22,000 candidates registered for 4,380 places for the academic year 2022/2023.
The information was released to the press by the head of the Department of Information and Communication of the António Agostinho Neto University, Lopes Baptista, stressing that the candidates will be submitted to written tests with material from the core subjects of the chosen course.
Lopes Baptista made it known that the competition calendar has undergone a slight change, but the conditions have been created to comply with the calendar. “Today will be the exams for the area of Social Sciences and Humanities, tomorrow for the Exact Sciences and Wednesday for the Health and Biological Sciences”, said Lopes Baptista, adding that students must bring their Identity Card and registration receipt and, in case of any difficulty, contact the information office on the University Campus.
According to Lopes Baptista, candidates must be at the University Campus one hour before the start of the exams, so as not to run the risk of being excluded.
He made it known that, last week, several candidates went to the University Campus, to know the rooms where they will take the exams.
It should be noted that Universidade Agostinho Neto is the first public institution of higher education and is located in the municipality of Talatona, in Luanda.
It currently has the following faculties: Sciences, Social Sciences, Economics, Engineering, Literature, Law and Medicine, as well as the Higher Institute of Health Sciences and a Higher School of Hospitality and Tourism.
