Africa-Press – Angola. The provincial secretary of UNITA in Uíge, Félix Simão Lucas, appealed, Tuesday (22), to all citizens of legal age and eligible to join, en masse, the Single Public Service Desks (BUAP) to update their records. .
The politician made the appeal during a press conference, held at UNITA headquarters, in Uíge, in allusion to February 22, “Patriot’s Day”, which marks the death of Jonas Savimbi, fallen in combat in 2002.
Félix Simão Lucas stressed the need for everyone to adhere to the Official Electoral Registration process, as it is the main requirement for every citizen to exercise their right to vote in the next elections scheduled for August this year.
