Africa-Press – Angola. UNITA’s provincial secretary in Lunda Sul, Alone Matuca, called on Tuesday in Saurimo for greater responsibility and commitment from the party’s new municipal secretaries, appointed within the framework of the new Political and Administrative Division (DPA).
These are the municipal secretaries of Muangueji, Cassengo, Sombo, Luma Cassai, Chiluaje, Muriege, Cazage, Xassengue, Alto Chicapa and deputies of Cacolo, Muconda Xassengue and Cassengo.
The appeal was made during the 5th ordinary meeting of the party’s Provincial Committee, encouraging the new municipal secretaries to work with selflessness and patriotism, in order to be examples in leadership and win over more members for the alternation of power in 2027.He added that with the new DPA, the parties face great challenges, and for this reason he said that the current situation requires the preparation of human resources to face the challenges that lie ahead with zeal. He said that strengthening the party in the municipalities depends on creative capacity, organization, working with the grassroots, and mobilizing more members to strengthen UNITA. During the meeting, the party members analyzed several documents, including the internal and socioeconomic life of Lunda Sul. UNITA was founded on March 13, 1966.
