Africa-Press – Angola. The joint secretary of UNITA in the municipality of Caála, Huambo province, Jeremias Cachichila, defended Saturday, the implementation of ethical, robust solutions capable of promoting the socio-economic development of communities, in a coherent and participatory manner.
The party member, who was speaking at a press conference, said that such a strategy would help communities prosper, reduce regional asymmetries and strengthen democratic principles, with coexistence in diversity at all levels.
“It is important that all political parties with parliamentary seats help create conditions aimed at the well-being of the population, in addition to being open to dialogue, with a view to strengthening national unity”, he said.
Jeremias Cachichila said that the National Police continue to do an “excellent job” in the field of combating crime, but should increasingly reinforce patrolling in communities where, possibly, there have been situations of political intolerance.
On the occasion, the politician advised the administrative authorities of Caála to create conditions to reinforce agricultural production, with the aim of increasing productivity levels and, consequently, reducing poverty in the communities.
