Africa-Press – Angola. The provincial secretary of UNITA in Bengo, Moniz Alfredo, asked, in Caxito, the party’s cadres, to strive for unity, cohesion and team spirit, in order to face future challenges.
When speaking at the end-of-year greeting ceremony, he pointed to the holding of local authorities and the 2027 elections as factors that will require availability and sacrifices from staff to achieve victory.
“Achieving the party’s victory will require availability from its cadres and sometimes they will have to accept sacrifices”, he highlighted.
According to the politician, it is necessary to increasingly strengthen the relationship with the people in order to perform more vigorously the role of lawyer and spokesperson for those who have no voice.
He considered the year ending to be positive, as it was possible to carry out political and administrative activities in all municipalities in the province of Bengo, which allowed the party to grow with the addition of new members.
The politician also referred to the economic crisis that the country is going through and which has worsened the population’s cost of living.
