Africa-Press – Angola. UNITA’s provincial secretary in Zaire, Pedro Francisco Tanda, advocated this Sunday in Mbanza Kongo for a frank and open dialogue between the local government and the opposition parties to resolve the main problems that still afflict the region’s inhabitants.

Speaking at the closing of the 5th ordinary session of the UNITA Provincial Committee, which took place under the motto “unity, discipline and work, on the road to victory”, the leader of the black rooster showed himself willing to contribute with ideas and constructive suggestions in the search for solutions aimed at improving the quality of life of the region’s population.

On the occasion, he asked the party’s leaders, cadres and members in this part of the country to redouble their efforts to mobilise new members, in view of the electoral challenges that lie ahead in the country.

The meeting, which was attended by party leaders, cadres and activists from all municipalities in the province, also reviewed issues related to the internal life of the organization and looked ahead to future actions.
