Africa-Press – Angola. Under the motto “deputies at the service of the citizen”, UNITA started, this Friday, in Luanda, the second parliamentary days in the nine municipalities of the country’s capital.

Speaking to the press, deputy Eugénio Manuvakola, who visited the municipality of Talatona, said that his working group concluded that it needs to return more often to listen to communities and that municipal administrators need to make an effort to improve the services offered to the population. .

He ensured that it was possible to visit the Municipal Administration and raise concerns with the team, which was exhaustive in responding to the concerns of the deputies, who left the site better informed about the work of municipal officials.

He explained that issues related to Health, means of communication, street vending and invasion of the streets were addressed.

In addition to the Municipal Administration, the deputies also went to the Talatona National Police Command to find out about crime rates, as well as their frequency.

The municipalities of Viana and Cazenga were also visited, respectively, by the parliamentarians Francisco Viana and Sandra Kakunda, having verified and heard the main concerns of the inhabitants, namely problems related to basic sanitation, lack of school material, electricity, water, health, roads access and ponds.
