Africa-Press – Angola. The deputy secretary of UNITA in Uige, Cardoso João Bambi, urged on Saturday, at the municipal headquarters of Mucaba, 60 kilometers from the provincial headquarters of Uige, the party’s militants, sympathizers and friends to strive for civic conduct, not inciting or responding to acts that could disrupt the electoral process, but to cast the right vote on the 24th of August for the candidate Adalberto Costa Júnior.
“There are only a few days left and it is absurd, at this stage, to hear someone mistreating a militant or any citizen, stealing the flag of political parties or other negative acts, but yes, we should all vote in peace and harmony”, he said, during the mobilization campaign that UNITA promoted in the municipal market of Mucaba.
In the company of several party members, he showed voters the position of the political force on the ballot paper, the space where voters will put their signature and how they will fold the sheet before putting it in the ballot box.
The secretary encouraged activists and the population to believe in UNITA’s governance program, which promises to create an Inclusive and Participatory Government.
“There will be no discrimination against anyone, because Angola belongs to all of us, employees will not be changed, the unemployed, according to their abilities and training, will also be included in work, whether private or public”, he promised.
Cardoso João Bambi said that UNITA plans to bring to Angola an alternation, a new life and opportunities for the improvement of the population’s living conditions. “The riches of the country will not only be for a restricted group of people, but for all Angolans, each one will do what he knows, according to his profession”, he said.
