UNITA wants to enrich the country's development plan

Africa-Press – Angola. UNITA announced this Friday (4th) that its national development plan for the next five years (2023 – 2027), if it wins the general elections, will be enriched by different civil society actors in the province of Bié, during the X Parliamentary Conferences, in the city of Cuito, from the 9th to the 11th of this month.

According to Liberty Chiyaka, leader of the party’s Parliamentary Group, the program of a future government will also benefit from final contributions. “The challenges of UNITA deputies include the desire to obtain a majority parliamentary group, in the course of a victory in the elections of next August”, he said.

The program has three main moments, namely, the departure of the deputies to the province of Bié, visits to the nine municipalities and the work of appreciating and debating the topics on the agenda. Chiyaka said that there will be a discussion around inclusive and participatory governance, the challenges of the Parliamentary Group and the democratic transition.
