Africa-Press – Angola. The co-coordinators of the United Patriotic Front (FPU) were convinced of UNITA’s victory in the general elections to be held next August.

The leader of the political project PRA JA Servir Angola and the president of the Democratic Bloc party affirmed their belief in the alternation of power, at the end of the first Seminar on Functional Harmonization of the United Patriotic Front, held in two days, in the Sovsmo complex, with more than 90 national, provincial, municipal, district and communal delegates from political formations and UNITA.

Abel Chivukuvuku said that the time had come for the change in government to take effect in Angola, because “there are other people capable of managing the country”.

“What brings us together is the common vision that we have of building a country that all Angolans dream of, fair and dignified for their children”, said the leader of PRA JA Servir Angola, for whom the general elections must take place in a orderly so that the transition is equally peaceful.

The president of the Democratic Bloc said he was “absolutely convinced” that the results of the seminar will create a new historic situation in Angola.

According to Filomeno Vieira Lopes, the United Patriotic Front will not be a mere episode, but a commitment that in the next five years will carry out a national project, in which civil society will be included.

For the politician, the alliance between the two parties and the PRA JA will last the spirit of humility, which will translate into permanent dialogue and sharing of opportunities.

In turn, Álvaro Daniel, representing the general coordinator of the United Patriotic Front, Adalberto Costa Júnior, said that the seminar served to create their own unique ways of working, being and being among the delegates of the different political projects.

When explaining the purposes of the seminar, he said: “We sat down to harmonize procedures and norms, as each of the institutions has its own political identity and culture. Delegations and technical teams worked for months to produce thoughts, theories and working methods”.
