Africa-Press – Angola. The mobile operator UNITEL boosted, this Friday, in Luanda, the action strategies of the agents of the country’s 18 provinces, during the holding of the 14th convention of agents 2023.
The event aimed to update the agents on the new services, such as the tariffs that the largest national mobile telephony network is practicing.
According to the company’s sales manager, Ricardo Cardoso, who was speaking to the press, he underlined that during the meeting the agents discussed trends in the sector, as well as the presentation of the products and services available at the company.
Ricardo Cardoso, who did not say the number of participants, stressed that the 14th Agents Convention 2023 is aimed at digitization with the sale of products and services through digital platforms.
“We are emphasizing the electronic top-up service, Unitel Money, a financial service that allows the customer, who does not have a bank account, to have access to a digital monetary wallet that allows him to pay and withdraw via online”, he said.
In this event, the operator presented a new Residential NetCasa service, using fiber technologies over 5G.
In turn, the Agent, João António, considered the meeting gratifying, as it allowed for the exchange of experiences and learning.
He considered the business profitable, as it guaranteed profits in one week, values valued at more than 15 million kwanzas, in sales of refills.
The event, which takes place annually, had as its theme “The Digital” where trends in the sector and knowledge of the operator’s new products and services were discussed.
