Africa-Press – Angola. One hundred and 30 personnel from the Reaction and Patrol Unit (URP) of the Police in Lunda Sul are attending, since yesterday, training on maintaining public order and managing large events.
The training action, lasting three months, aims to improve police intervention techniques and tactics, in order to imprint a new dynamic on action.
At the opening of the event, the head of the Department of Public Security and Operations of the Provincial Police Command in Lunda Sul, Júlio Velho, considered training to be essential, for a better performance of the staff in the various missions.
Actions of the kind will be carried out in the communes and municipalities that make up the province of Lunda Sul.
