The Vice-President’s visit to ETA de Candelabro, one of the most important works of the Executive led by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, with a view to reducing the deficit in the supply of water in Luanda, is part of the celebration of the 22nd of March, World Water Day, which this year is celebrated under the motto “Groundwater: Making the Invisible Visible”.

This is an activity foreseen in the annual plan of the National Water Council, a permanent consultative body of the Holder of the Executive Power, coordinated by the Vice-President of the Republic, whose objective is to articulate the action of the Ministerial Departments related to the planning, management and use of water resources.
