Africa-Press – Angola. More than 3,000 business processes were financed, nationwide, by Wiliete Crédito, as part of the implementation of the Informal Economy Reconversion Program (PREI), ongoing since 2019.
The data were revealed Tuesday, by the director for Commerce of the financial institution, Jacksom Sakuenda Kapusso, on a working visit to Huambo province, with the aim of expanding its services, through awareness campaigns for citizens , above all, entrepreneurs, about their financing lines.
Jacksom Sakuenda Kapusso made it known that the referred projects were funded within the framework of the National Development Plan (PDN), with a minimum amount of 50 thousand Kwanzas and a maximum of seven million.
Without revealing the overall financed amount, he said that there are other processes under analysis, as they present some shortcomings, in terms of the requirements demanded for the financing.
On the occasion, he reaffirmed that Wiliete Crédito will continue to finance various business projects that fall under the challenges of the Angolan Government, with a focus on the development of the country’s economy.
However, he pointed out the non-compliance on the part of the beneficiaries in reimbursing the amounts, as the main constraint in the implementation of Wiliete Crédito projects.
To counteract the situation, he informed that technical advice actions will be developed for candidates on the appropriate ways and requirements for obtaining credits, in addition to assessing the viability of the projects presented.
Wiliete Crédito, a non-banking financial institution, with a share capital of 25 million Kwanzas, has seven branches based in the provinces of Benguela (three), Huíla (two), Huambo (one) and Cuando Cubando (one).
