Africa-Press – Angola. The civil works and equipping of the provisional facilities for the future Angolan Diamond Exchange will be concluded next December.

The announcement was made this Wednesday by the Minister of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas, Diamantino Azevedo, during a guided visit to the building where the Angolan Diamond Exchange will operate, in Luanda.

After visiting the areas where the country’s diamond exchange office and laboratory will be set up, the holder of the portfolio also held a working meeting with the Board of Directors of SODIAM, the company designated as the owner of the work.

The minister was accompanied by the Secretary of State for Mineral Resources, Jânio Victor, the National Director of Mineral Resources, Paulo Tanganha, as well as consultants Mankenda Ambroise, José Galiano and Romeu Ribeiro.

The act was also attended by the PCA of Endiama, Ganga Júnior, the PCA of ANRM, Jacinto Rocha, and the Executive Coordinator of the National Commission of the Kimberley Process, Paulo Mvika.
