Africa-Press – Angola. The work “Poetic Resurrection”, with 50 poems and an equal number of pages, by the writer Kamba Lemba, is now available on the national literary market.

Despite being his first solo work, Kamba Lemba has participated in several poetic anthologies, with emphasis on “Raízes laces de culture de Angola com Brasil”, “Sol” and “Geração que Lê” and several poems published in magazines and newspapers.

According to the author, “Ressurreição Poética”, which was launched on Thursday at the headquarters of the Union of Angolan Writers (UEA), portrays various experiences of the same as a poet, declaimer and member of the National Club of Poets and Troubadours of the Youth Brigade of Literature of Angola (BJLA).

On the other hand, the president of the BJLA praised the writer for launching the work and encouraged young people to join the organization, as well as to write to become great writers, as were Agostinho Neto, Luandino Vieira, just to name these.

“We as a cultural institution have the responsibility of creating cultural events for the discovery of new values, forming them and later disseminating them in book”, he said.

According to Carlos Pedro, he will continue to publish new young authors who live in Luanda and in other provinces.

Published by “Alupolo”, with the seal of the BJLA, the work with an initial print run of five hundred copies, is being sold for the value of three thousand kwanzas, in several bookstores in the capital city.

Francisco Paulino, pseudonym of Kamba Lemba, holds a degree in African Languages ​​and Literatures from the former Faculty of Letters and Social Sciences at Universidade Agostinho Neto, in Criminal Sciences from the Instituto Superior Politécnico de Ciências e Tecnologia de Angola (INSUTEC) and a postgraduate degree in Pedagogical Aggregation.

Currently, Kamba Lemba is Assistant Secretary General BJLA, founding member of the National Club of Poets and Troubadours, teacher and speaker.
