Africa-Press – Angola. A set of 34 works by young painters have been on display since Friday, in the collective exhibition called “Nossa Arte”, at the Espaço D’Arte gallery, located in the ESCOM building, in Luanda.
On Monday, the exhibition’s curator, Adão Mussungo, said that the collective show has works by more than five young creators who are establishing themselves in the national market. “The exhibition aims to publicize and promote the works of young painters”.
The present plastic arts exhibition “Nossa Arte”, he explains, comes to offer the public and lovers of the visual arts with the best that young people have done in Luanda.
According to the curator, the exhibition aims to present creative works in a pictorial vision through art, presenting the cultural and contemporary imaginary in the artists’ vision and providing the public with a journey into the universe of colors that elevate our art.
“The exhibition also aims to show our art and elevate national symbols, our culture through art, to draw attention to the respect and right we all have to care for the common good, peace”, defended Adão Mussungo .
The exhibition, which will be on display until the end of this month, includes works by Zeca Lokombo, Avelino Mieze, Vickson, Maiomona Vua and Atelier Yssolo. For this reason, the curator of the exhibition invites the public to visit the exhibition, as he said “it is a reflection that we must all do so that on August 24 we can raise Angola’s name very high, respecting democracy for a united Angola ”.
