Africa-Press – Angola. More than 100 young people from the municipality of Saurimo, in the province of Lunda-Sul, received, on Tuesday, work kits for the creation of small service provision companies, within the scope of the Action Plan for the Promotion of Employability (PAPE) .
Of the resources delivered by the national director of employability of the Ministry of Public Administration, Labour, Employment and Social Security (MAPTESS), emphasis goes to those in the areas of Agriculture, Cutting and Sewing, Plumbing, Metalworking, Pastry and Gardening.
Manuel Mbangui also delivered professional kits to 130 young people from the municipalities of Muconda and Dala.
According to Manuel Mbangui, among the projects of the Action Plan for the Promotion of Employability (PAPE) is the remuneration of professionals in the internship phase.
The national director of employability of the Ministry of Public Administration, Labour, Employment and Social Security defends the collaboration of local companies in creating jobs for young people and obtaining micro-credits.
He appealed to young people to organize themselves into cooperatives, so that, more easily, they can be supported and have access to micro-credits.
He added that PAPE foresees the creation of more than 80 thousand jobs throughout the country.
In possession of an agriculture kit, young Gildo Ezequiel, 28, trained in the field by the National Institute for Employment and Vocational Training (INEFOP) in 2018, told our report that he will make his dream come true, for more than two years, to increase the cultivation of onions, cabbage, tomatoes, eggplants and other vegetables, with the collaboration of three young people from their neighborhood, on a hectare, in the town of Itengo, more than 20 kilometers from Saurimo.
Proud of the metalwork kit, Timeu Lussaki, 33, assured that he will employ five young people in his tent in the Terra Nova neighborhood.
With more than 20 courses, long and short, at the Integrated Center for Employment and Vocational Training in the municipality of Saurimo, 880 young people are enrolled in various courses, according to director João Cassanguiri.
