Africa-Press – Botswana. Egypt won, this Sunday, the gold against Madagascar, by 81-54, in the men’s under-18 Afrobasket.
On the winners’ side were Ibrahim Zahran, who scored 26 points, Seifeldin Hendawy, who scored 12 points and Belal Elshakery, who scored nine points.
While on the Madagascar side, Lovasoa Ny Aina Andyerson Andriatsarafara stood out, with 14 points, Mathias M’Madi with 14 points and Jerry Pepin Rabibisoa, who finished with 11 points.
Egypt has not won Afrobasket at this level since the championship held in 2014, also in Malagasy lands.
