Africa-Press – Botswana. The Botswana Football Association has appointed Security Systems coach, Kaelo ‘Wire’ Kaelo as the new Under-23 coach, while Patrick Kowa takes charge of the Under-20 side.
“The two coaches who will be working on a temporary basis will be reporting to camp today (September 14) and September 18, respectively ahead of preparations for the upcoming Under-23 Olympic qualifiers and Under-20 COSAFA Games,” the BFA said in a statement.
The step is part of an expected shake-up in the national teams’ technical departments. Mogomotsi ‘Teenage’ Mpote was previously in charge of the Under-23 side and reports are that he will be elevated to take the Zebras job on a full-time basis.
