Africa-Press – Botswana. Newly elected Botswana President, Mr Duma Boko’s inauguration is tomorrow. The ceremony, which starts as early as 6am, will be held at the national stadium.
President Boko will be inaugurated as the 6th President of Botswana, and the first from a different political party since independence.
A press release from the Office of the President described the ceremony as a historic event that marks a significant milestone in the country’s democratic process. It further indicated that the ceremony will be graced by dignitaries from the region, senior government officials as well as the public.
President Boko is also expected to make his first public address to the nation, where he is expected to share his vision and goals for the nation.
