Africa-Press – Botswana. President Advocate Duma Boko swearing-in Deputy Ombudsman, Ms Beaulah Mguni at the Office of President in Gaborone on November 17.
He also said Ombudsman Act of 2021 broadened the scope of the office, which was formely limited to investigations of administrative impropriety or maladministration in the Public Service. The President also encouraged the office to deepen its capacity, strengthen its investigative functions and remian responsive to the public.
