The President announced US$12 billion (over P160 billion) investment from the Qatar toward strengthening economic cooperation and addressing immediate challenges faced by the country. President Boko said the MoU underscored government’s commitment to driving economic progress and diversification while cultivating stronger ties between the two nations. The MoU, which was signed through Botswana Development Cooperation and Al Masour Holding, aims at promoting collaboration in areas of mutual interest and advancing national development goals and economic growth.
