Kgosi Toteng Ndzonga of Nkange said there were numerous instances of power cable theft. .
These incidents, he said usually happen at night when there was less movement while at the same time these criminals usually target homes where there was no one at home.

On the issue of cable theft, Village Development Committee chairperson Mr Wenu Motsamai said that they had a LA2 house which was built through Community Constituency Projects (CCP) funds for 2018/2019 financial year which has been lying idle for almost five years now.

He thus pleaded with the MP to engage relevant authorities regarding their projects which were not taking off despite promises made to village leadership and the community.
Dr Tshabang said timely communication was crucial and pleaded with council management to take up their roles fully and ensure that they update the people whenever there were delays on any issues affecting the community.
On other issues, he informed the the residents that they would be supplied with potable water from Ntimbale dam.
The MP nonetheless said Water Utilities Corporation(WUC) had been given P100 million to address challenges with regards to maintenance of pipeline and treatment plant. He hoped that Nkange constituency would have access to portable water by the end of the year.
He further added that to date, the water from the dam covered half of the constituency and the remaining half will be served before the end of the year.
