Africa-Press – Botswana. CRACKiT Tuition Botswana held its 2021 academic excellence awards ceremony in Gaborone, on the evening of Saturday, 9 April 2021.
2021 top performing students who enrolled with CRACKiT Tuition for the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE), Junior Certificate Examinations (JCE), BGCSE and IGCSE, were handed awards at this important event which was held at Fairground’s Pavilion Restaurant. CRACKiT Tuition best performing staff across different centers also received awards.
Apart from motivating its 2021’s top performing students and staff, CRACKiT Tuition Botswana’s April 9 event, was a reiteration of its unwavering commitment towards excellence as a local leading private education provider in Botswana.
Officiating at the awards ceremony, Mr. Moemedi Senwelo, CRACKiT Chief Executive (CEO), said the CRACKiT Academic Excellence Awards are meant to reward both the students and staff who worked hard.
The optimistic Senwelo noted that the tuition center is geared for growth, going into the future.
“The year 2021 has been a remarkable one as our overall performance demonstrates. To you our students, particularly those who now proceed to pursue your tertiary education, I want to challenge you to make the right choice in the courses that you look forward to study,” he advised.
“It is very important that you study something that you are passionate about and as such you must carefully think about, and introspect on this issue,” he added.
Further, CRACKiT Tuition CEO praised all CRACKiT center managers, tutors and supporting staff, and commended them for their commitment and the organisation’s exponential growth.
Senwelo also challenged other staff members and centers who didn’t win awards to work very hard this year so that their efforts could be celebrated, next year, as well.
At the Awards, Selebi Phikwe CRACKiT Tuition center emerged as the 2021 best BGCSE tuition center. Orapa CRACKiT Tuition center walked away with 2021 best PSLE Tuition Center Award, Phase 2 CRACKiT won the 2021 best Non-Franchisee Center, Letlhakane CRACKiT was 2021’s Best Setup Center, and the most Adventurous CRACKiT Tuition center award was scooped by Extension 10 CRACKiT. Sadly this year the Best Innovator Award, went begging as no centre got it. Phakalane CRACKiT Tuition Center, under coordination of the CEO, got The Best New Center Award.
Mr Tefo Maleka, who heads the new Thamaga CRACKiT Learning Hub; Ms Thelma Senwelo who runs five CRACKiT Centres and Mr Tshepiso Seabuseng who runs Selebi Phikwe CRACKiT Centres, each also received the CRACKiT CEO’s Appreciation Award.
Meanwhile, Maleka said the academic success attained in 2021 was a collective effort of the staff, students and the parents. He emphasized that parents are the key stakeholders to CRACKiT’s success and learners’ excellence.
“At CRACKiT we reward excellence. We are proud of the performance and we anticipate more growth this year. We have been able to produce a national top achiever and this shows how we are also contributing towards the improvement of education,” said Maleka in his opening remarks for the event.
CRACKiT Tuition services students from lower primary, upper primary, junior secondary and senior secondary; at fifty-one centres across Botswana and two in South Africa. The centres enroll for full-time, part-time and weekend class tutorials.
