Africa-Press – Botswana. As it stands we have been using Nutriday Plain yoghurt at ChellzKitchen for a good number of years. Since the formal inception of ChellzKitchen.

Thats 4 years there about. Predominantly i use Nutriday Plain Yoghurt to make 2 ingredient dough, which is a super hack when it comes to bakes and an number of different breads. My love for 2i has grown in leaps and bounds over the years as we are continuously discovering and developing exciting ways to serve ans prepare 2i. Be it a Garlic Cheesey loaf, Pita bread, Doughnuts, Pizza, Cinnamon Rolls are but just a few enjoyable ways to enjoy the 2i. Plain yoghurt is not limited to the 2i dough, it is beneficial for ones health in the following ways but not exclusively; • Bone health • Gut health: • Heart health • Weight management

Plain yoghurt is also a good ingredient for cooking. It is considered ti be so great because of its versatility, it can be used to add creaminess to sauces, marinades, dips and soups. Often it’s a healthier substitute in many recipes; its acidity helps tenderize meat when used in marinades, in beef, chicken, lamb and pork. To be honest I bake more than cook with my fighter, Nutriday plain yoghurt and i will be making a conserted effort to cook more with plain yoghurt and i will be taking you all on this ride with me. This means doing more than marinades for the occasional braai – peso and some of my favourite Indian dishes, butter chicken and tikka masala. One of my all time favourites is the chickpeq curry which i sometimes add prawns to. Enjoy this simple impressive recipie. Dont forget to keep checking in on our ChellzKitchen Facebook page were we have alotnof exciting things happening.
