Africa-Press – Botswana. President Advocate Duma Boko says the Democratic Republic of Congo has placed an order for canned stew from the Botswana Meat Commission valued at US$4 million (over P50 million).
The consignment is scheduled to depart Botswana soon.
President Boko said this during a kgotla meeting in Ramotswa on May 27.
He also assured Batswana that State-Owned Enterprises such as Botswana Meat Commission, Air Botswana, Botswana Agricultural Marketing Board and Botswana Railways will be revamped so as to generate profit to benefit all.
He also promised to uphold human rights, saying all had a right to life, with a good shelter, clothes, food and the right to access to healthcare services.
