Africa-Press – Botswana. The Moroccan women’s football team won the second victory for the African continent, among the four representatives in the World Cup, which runs from 20 July to 20 August, in Australia and New Zealand.
The Moroccans defeated today (Sunday), the counterpart of South Korea, by 1-0, with a goal by Ibtlisson Jraidi, in the sixth minute, in a challenge for the second round of group H.
The first triumph was obtained by Nigeria, against Australia, by 3-2, for group B.
With this result, Morocco has three points, in third place, the same as Colombia and Germany, who are playing at the moment (0-0). The South Koreans are in last place with zero.
Even today, but for the opening of the third round of series A, Norway thrashed the Philippines, by 6-0, while Switzerland drew (0-0) with the host New Zealand (0-0).
