Africa-Press – Botswana. Group-IB, a leading creator of cybersecurity technologies to investigate, prevent, and fight digital crime, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Botswana Communications Regulatory Authority (BOCRA) to strengthen cooperation in tackling cybercrime and enhancing digital threat resilience across Botswana, helping to protect companies and citizens from evolving online threats.
The partnership aims to facilitate threat intelligence sharing, joint investigations, and capacity building in key areas such as digital forensics, incident response, and cybercrime investigations. Under the agreement, Group-IB will support BOCRA in monitoring scams, phishing campaigns, compromised payment records, and underground cybercriminal activity relevant to Botswana.
