Africa-Press – Botswana. Letsile Tebogo and Leungo Scotch will take to the track today in Lausanne, Switzerland, for the Diamond League series of competitions.
Tebogo will compete in 200 metres against seasoned athletes from Canada, The Netherlands, Liberia, Cuba, Switzerland and Trinidad.
However, he has already proved that he can sprint with the big boys, as such, victory for him is not a far-fetched dream.
Scotch will race in 400 metres against Emmanuel Bamidele from Nigeria, Dutch sprinter Liemarvin Bonevacia and Belgian sprinter Dylan BorleĢe, among others.
Both athletes have already qualified for the World Athletics Championships billed for Budapest, Hungary, in August.
Scotch will be making his Diamond League debut in Switzerland while Tebogo is by no means a new comer, as he has previously participated 100-metre race.
