Africa-Press – Botswana. Now it’s official. Real Madrid has announced that Croatian midfielder Luka Modric, 36, has renewed his contract with the club for a season, until 2023, the sports newspaper A Bola reported in its online edition on Wednesday.
The player, elected best in the world in 2018 and an unavoidable reference for the meringues, has played 436 games and won 20 titles for the club he arrived at in 2012, 10 years ago, from Tottenham.
“Hello madridistas, I am very happy to continue wearing this jersey. Thank you very much for your affection”, reacted Modric, through a short video published by the club.
