Africa-Press – Botswana. President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi and Uganda President General Yoweri Museveni had discussed potential bilateral collaboration in the fields of agriculture, particularly in cattle breeding, feed production, and government-to-government partnerships to address Uganda’s foot and mouth disease challenge, as the country has a significant cattle population of 16 million.
President Masisi also expressed Botswana’s keen interest in exploring the value chain and expanding collaboration in the dairy industry. The discussion was made during a courtesy call on January 22.
