Africa-Press – Botswana. Phakalane Estates has commenced construction as per the next phase of its vision at Bodulo Apartments. Nestled in Peto Estate, a gated community within the Phakalane suburb, Bodulo Apartments will feature 84 contemporary residential units, which will be built in eight blocks across 9,000 square meters of land.

Bodulo Apartments will have 39 one-bedroom units and 45 two-bedroom units. The apartments will be modern and contemporary in style. Based on nuanced architectural design, the property sees the finest aesthetics and finishings, in keeping with the appeal of Phakalane.

Speaking during the event, Phakalane Estates Group chief executive officer (CEO) Subramaniam Parthiban said they have engaged several long-term stakeholders and partners to make the project a reality, which includes but is not limited to Bohua Construction, LWA Architects, FTM Consultants, Valluvan, Akheel Jinabhai and Associates as well as Digital Surveys. “This is a great moment indeed, as we are currently celebrating our 30th anniversary as an organisation. Conceptualised pre-COVID-19, the pandemic had a substantive impact on the project’s progress but the project is ready to continue full steam ahead as the city council approvals have been granted,” he said.

Parthiban said they have engaged selling agents like PAM Golding, Seeff Properties and Phakalane Properties and Architects, Structural Engineers and Electrical Engineers respectively appointed. The project is expected to be completed in 14 months. Currently, the posh suburb is leading a number of investments and properties in the spaces of retail, commercial, residential and industrial. Last year, Phakalane Golf Estate Hotel and Convention Centre underwent significant refurbishment, particularly in the conference and dining spaces. Founded 30 years ago by David Magang, Phakalane Estates came from humble beginnings.

To mark its 30th anniversary, the estates invested over P45 million on major projects to rapidly expand into developing one of the most desirable neighbourhoods in the country.
