Masa Racing Park in Samedupi, near Maun, hosted the 8th Premier Cup horse racing event on Saturday, drawing participants and spectators from Botswana, Namibia, and South Africa. This marked the first time the prestigious race was held in the North West district since its inception in 2018, signaling the sport’s growing reach across the country. The event showcased top-quality horses and riders, highlighting the competitive spirit and skill present in the region.
Acting Minister of Sport and Arts, Lesego Chombo, officiated the event, emphasizing its significance as a celebration of progress within Botswana’s horse racing community.
