Africa-Press – Botswana. President Advocate Duma Boko has expressed appreciation to the royal couple of the Warri Kingdom of Nigeria for visiting Botswana.
His Royal Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III and Her Majesty Olori Atuwatse III, co-founders of the two-day Elevate Africa Convening 2025 which was held at Royal Aria Convention Centre in Tlokweng recently, paid a courtesy call to President Boko at Office of the President on October 31.
“We are humbled and extremely overjoyed to have you here with us. We take it as a great gesture of appreciation of friendship and of extending brotherhood and the boundaries of collaboration. We also send, through you, our greetings and appreciation to the people of the Warri Kingdom,” President Boko said.
His Majesty Atuwatse said the visit was beautiful experience: “It is an honour to meet you in person. I believe the entire African continent was watching in anticipation and excitement when you emerged victorious during the elections. Personally, I was glad as a young man to see a young face and yet another position of authority on this continent and we have been monitoring your progress, so far.”
The Elevate Africa Convening 2025 event brought together leaders, innovators and change-makers from the continent to discuss Africa’s transformation agenda.
