Africa-Press – Botswana. President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi departed for Nairobi, Kenya Wednesday afternoon to participate in the Sixth Session of the United Nations Environment Assembly which starts from February 29 to March 1.
He is scheduled to present Botswana’s statement at the High-Level Segment on tomorrow, focusing on Botswana’s initiatives in addressing environmental issues and promoting global environmental governance.
Additionally, President Masisi will engage in bilateral discussions with President Dr William Ruto of Kenya during the Assembly.
He was seen off by Vice President Slumber Tsogwane, along with cabinet members and senior government officials.
