Africa-Press – Botswana. President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi addressing a kgotla meeting in Seronga Thursday.Among issues that he addressed was the Mohembo-Gudigwa gravel road.
The road is currently under maintenance with two graders on site. Minister of Transport and Public Works , Mr Eric Molale said the road would be graded , adding that local companies had been engaged to provide tipper trucks and graders.
Also discussed at the meeting was livestock theft that is rampant in the area especially rustling of cattle across the border to Zambia as well as human wildlife conflict.
Kgosi Disho Ndhowe suggested that government drills borehole for the elephants to drive them away from drinking in the river near the village.
