Africa-Press – Botswana. President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi accompanied by First Lady Neo arrived in Seoul, South Korea (June 3) for the inaugural Korea-Africa Summit billed for June 4-5.
They were welcomed at Incheon International Airport by South Korea Deputy Minister of Public Diplomacy, Ambassador Hong Seok-in, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Lemogang Kwape and Botswana Ambassador to Korea, Major General Gotsileene Morake. Upon arrival, President Masisi inspected a quarter guard mounted by Korea National Military.
The Korea-Africa Summit is held under the theme: The future We Make together; Shared Growth, Sustainability and Solidarity.
It aims to enhance cooperation between Korea and Africa in various sectors, such as infrastructure, trade and investment, digital technologies and e-government.
