Africa-Press – Botswana. Prince Harry has returned to one of his favorite places. The Duke of Sussex traveled to Africa as president of African Parks, an environmental conservation group that manages national parks across the continent, reveals People magazine.

During his visit, Harry, 37, was greeted by a group of officials and philanthropists as they toured the areas in which the organization operates.

It is recalled that Harry started working for African Parks in 2016, becoming president the following year. Africa has always been a very special place for the prince, and on previous occasions he has noticed that it is his “second home”.

It should be remembered that Prince Harry was, in 2019, in Angola where he stayed for three days. The Duke of Sussex was received in Luanda by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço. During their meeting, they spoke, namely, about issues related to demining and ecotourism, having also addressed issues about the fight against AIDS, with the First Lady of the Republic, Ana Dias Lourenço.

At the time, in statements to the press, the then UK ambassador to Angola, Jessica Hand, described the Duke of Sussex’s visit as a “great success”. in 2013. “It was significant for him, from the point of view of honoring his mother’s work”, he acknowledged.
