Africa-Press – Botswana. As you may be aware, in November 2022, president launched the Revised Artificial Insemination (AI) programme where we promised as a Government that we would support all endeavors and initiatives that would restore the livestock sector to its glory days.
Today showed our commitment as the BDP-led Government to the delivery of that promise, having invested P25 million in procuring live breeding cattle from the world’s most renowned Breeders.
This initiative is in line with Government’s RESET Agenda to revive the livestock sub-sector and ensure value-chain development within the sector.
